Nearly another year (decade, technically) in the books, and I don’t know about you, but I’m still wondering how that happened so quickly! If you need a break from the hustle & bustle, we have plenty of options this month. 🐶12/7- Saturday- Ruff Mudder by Chewy: Central Florida (10am-2pm)
Ruff Mudder is an all-dog version of the popular Tough Mudder event in which participants test their physical and mental limits by navigating a mud-soaked obstacle course. Guided on-leash by their trusty pet parent, four-legged participants will face seven obstacles to crawl and climb their way through. For more information & to sign up, click the link above. Looking for a great holiday card pic? This month, the Orlando Dog Mom club is offering 1 free photo with Santa to all of their members! Swing by Woof Gang Bakery in Sodo to snag yours, but make sure you rsvp for a time slot through the link above.
🐶12/7- Saturday- Picture with Santa Day (1:30pm-4:30pm)
Hosted by A Ruff Day Bark Club, stop by during these hours with your family, friends, and pups to get your picture taken with Santa. Donate a toy of any value and place it in their Toys for Tots drop off box until December 15th and get your photo taken for free.
🐶12/8- Sunday- Dog Day Afternoon -Christmas Edition (1pm-6pm)
Join Ivanhoe Brewing Co. for Dog Day Afternoon at the Brewery, Christmas Edition! They will have Santa out for photos fwith your pup at his workshop, and they’ll be bringing snow and special Christmas dog treats and vendors. Christmas shop for your pup while enjoying a beer! Live Music and 2B’s Q Food Truck on the patio.
🐶12/8- Sunday- Pawliday Pints (1pm-6pm)
Lil Rascals Dog Rescue is partnering with Castle Church Brewing to host their annual holiday fundraiser, which is one of the primary ways they raise money, allowing them to continue making a difference for pups in need. There will be live music, food, great drinks and raffle items.
🐾12/8- Sunday- Redlight Saves Christmas Holiday Market (12pm-4pm)
Back for it’s 6th year, Redlight Redlight’s annual holiday market is a great way to shop local small businesses, with a beer in hand. And because Redlight is always pup-friendly, they can join too!
🐾12/8- Sunday- Orlando Flea Holiday Market (12pm-4pm)
Join the folks from the Daily City for holiday shopping, desserts, lunch, and drinks inside the lovely downtown oasis Celine. This holiday season they’re back with 35+ local and regional artisans, crafters and makers! Family and dog-friendly.
🐶12/12- Thursday- Yappy Hour in College Park (5pm-8pm)
K Restaurant & Woof! Orlando team up to host this monthly yappy hour. Grab a seat on the porch and enjoy the live music along with dog themed food and drinks.
🐶12/13- Friday– Bourbon Barks and Bowties (5pm-11pm)
The awesome folks at Winter Park Lost Pets have teamed up with John Craig Clothier to host an eventing benefitting The Lost Pets Foundation and Greyhounds in Motion. Stop by this open house to sample some bourbon and shop bowties created by local artist Sindy Brown Levine.
🐶12/14- Saturday– Doggy Ugly Sweater Day at Boxi Park (12pm-4pm)
Why should dog owners have all the fun? Join in on the ugly sweater fun and get the pooches into their ugliest holiday sweater. Contest begins at 3pm!
🐾12/20- Saturday– Evening Exchange at East End Market (6pm-10pm)
This monthly event always draws a crowd, and while inside the market is for service dogs only, the courtyard and surrounding area is pet friendly! Pawistively Pure Dog Food will be on hand selling healthy dog food and treats.
🐶12/29- Sunday-Paws on the Patio @ M Lounge (11am-4pm)
Every 1st Sunday of the month your pup is welcome on the rooftop M Lounge’s Liquid Brunch hours–this month it will be held on the LAST Sunday of the month. Enjoy Bulldog Drink specials and beautiful views with your furry friends. 50% of the proceeds from their featured Bulldog Gin cocktail will go towards Pet Rescue by Judy. All dogs must be on leashes during their stay on the rooftop. 21+ years old to enter.
