Easing out of our Florida winter and into February means two things to us: outdoor festival & market season is ramping up, and we’ll soon have more strawberries than we know what to do with. We’re not complaining though, let’s get this party started! We’ve got a full lineup this month, but our “can’t miss” event is surely the 2019 Paws in the Park festival on Saturday, February 9th, at Lake Eola. It’s THE dog event for Central Florida pup lovers, and we’ll be there! Come on by and say hi, won’t you?

❤️ 2/2- SaturdayPet CPR and First Aid Certification Class (3:30-6:30pm)
This class, hosted by Rocky’s Retreat Canine Health & Fitness, benefits Metta Rescue Family, and will certify the participant in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid. The program is based on the most current method of animal CPR called the RECOVER Initiative which was developed by emergency veterinarians. This class is designed to teach the participant how to administer emergency CPR and first aid to an animal until veterinary care is ascertained. 🐶 2/3- Sunday- Downward dog w/your dog @ Rocky’s Retreat (8:30am-10am)
Do you ever feel guilty for leaving your pup at home on the weekend when you’re out running around or practicing some self care? Join Rocky’s Retreat and Kelly Wiseman for Downward dog with your dog! Bring your pup with you for some play time while you take care of your body, mind & spirit. Advanced registration required.

🐾 2/4- Monday Audubon Park Night Market- 10 Year Anniversary Celebration (5-9pm)
February 4th marks 10 years of night markets at Stardust Video and Coffee and they are ready to celebrate a decade of local goodness with customer appreciation prizes, pop-ups from some former favorites, live music, and an evening of fun with our local community. There will be giveaways throughout the night, with prizes from our vendors and local businesses. They’re also welcoming back some market favorites, including Buttermilk Bakery, Wild Ocean’s Fish Tacos, Orlando Meats and more! As always, this night market is pup friendly.

🐶 2/9- Saturday Paws in the Park- Orlando’s Largest Dog Walk & Pet Festival! (Walk: 10am, Festival 11am-4pm)
Pet lovers from all over Central Florida will gather at beautiful Lake Eola to support Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando’s mission to educate, shelter, place, and heal pets and their families with compassionate, responsible care. This community-wide fundraising event provides support for the more than 8,000 homeless pets who will be cared for at our two shelters this year. There will be tons of pet related businesses there (we’ll be there!) as well as loads of activities for the pups (agility course, dock diving, and more). Did we mention food trucks, a beer garden, and of course ADOPTABLE PUPS? Come spend the day with your pup and friends for a great cause! (Check out our top 10 reasons why you need to be there!)

🐾 2/9- Saturday 8th Annual Winter Garden Blues & BBQ (4-10pm)
After an afternoon at Paws in the Park, head over to Winter Garden for some great music and barbecue! This festival pairs the hottest Blues and Roots musicians with award winning local BBQ connoisseurs, for an afternoon celebration of true Southern Soul. Admission is free.

🐶 2/11- Monday- College Park Yappy Hour (5-8pm)
K Restaurant & Woof! Orlando team up to host this monthly yappy hour. Grab a seat on the porch and enjoy the live music along with dog themed food and drinks.

🐾 2/16- Saturday- Indie-Folkfest at the Menello (12-5pm)
Get ready for the 5th annual Indie-Folkfest presented by PLR Florida at The Mennello Museum of American Art! This annual event is FREE and family-and pet-friendly. Join thousands of guests to enjoy a beautiful day in the park with local bands, great food, beverages, and an art station for the kids. Grab a picnic blanket and relax in the sun! Woof! Orlando will be there with goodies for the pups so they can join in on the picnic fun.

🐶 2/16- Saturday- 2nd Annual Dog Expo Market (1-5pm)
Hosted by Rocky’s Retreat Canine Health & Fitness Center, this event is aimed at all dog lovers who are interested in products and services focused on the health of their pup. Exhibitors will be featuring 100% natural products, dog groomer services, alternative therapies, canine hydrotherapies, daily pet care, training, recreational toys and educational, photography, illustrations and portraits of pets, accessories, handmade clothing, and much more. 🐾 2/17- Sunday- Sanford Indie Market (11am-5pm)
Held twice a year, this curated show features vintage, art, handcrafted, and boutique vendors. There will be food, drinks, and live music available. Event is dog friendly and will be held in the field across from Tuffy’s Bottle Shop & Lounge.

❤️ 2/21- Thursday- Barks & Crafts Wine Night – Bake Dog Cookies (6-8pm)

⭐️🐶 2/23- Saturday- Paws & Pints on the Patio (9am-1pm)
Hosted by Orange County Animal Services and Peach Valley Cafe, they’ve got a great afternoon lined up including games, prizes, famed balloon artist Mr. Blunge, pet bowl crafting, a cutest pet photo contest, and samples from Orlando’s newest brewery- Rockpit Brewing.

⭐️🐶 2/23- Saturday- Pups, Pints, & Peeps (4-7pm)
Join the folks at Crooked Can Brewing Company for Saturday happy hour. Hang out in the Crooked Can Barrel room and enjoy a few pints with your best bud. Event takes place rain or shine.

🐾 2/23- Saturday- 2nd Annual Sanford Porchest (12-6pm)
Fourty-Four Bands. Ten Porches. One Community. Sanford Porchfest is a free grassroots festival with the sole purpose of unifying neighbors and friends through music. It is the ultimate sense of community – where every guest, porch host, artist and organizer plays a part in the overall experience.Set up within walkable (biking or golf cart) distances, various porches 44 local bands / artists from all genres will perform simultaneously on ten front porches throughout the Sanford residential historic district. Yards transform into front row seating, where everyone is VIP. Event is pup and family friendly!
