🐶10/5- Saturday- Free Pet Wellness Event (10am-2pm)
Hosted by local nonprofit Paws of Hope, this event offers all kinds of services and support for owners and their pups (and kitties), free of charge! Free wellness checks, microchipping, vaccines, and so much more. Learn more about this awesome group and their event in our recent Local Love post.
🐾10/5 – Saturday- Audubon Park Night Market (5pm-10pm)
Party under the stars in the award winning Audubon Park Garden District, near Redlight Redlight and Park Ave CDs. This annual event features locally and regionally made crafts, street food, art, photography, DJ, live music, two beer gardens and fortune tellers.
🐶10/6- Sunday- Paws on the Patio @ M Lounge (11am-4pm)
Every 1st Sunday of the month your pup is welcome on the rooftop M Lounge’s Liquid Brunch hours. Enjoy Bulldog Drink specials and beautiful views with your furry friends. 50% of the proceeds from their featured Bulldog Gin cocktail will go towards Pet Rescue by Judy. All dogs must be on leashes during their stay on the rooftop. 21+ years old to enter.
🐶10/6- Sunday- Dog Night @ Orlando Wall Crawl (4:30pm-8:30pm)

🐶10/6- Sunday- Blessing of the Animals (6pm)
In honor of Saint Francis, the clergy at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke will be giving special blessings to our pets. The Blessing of the Animals will be incorporated into the 6:00 p.m. service. As always, all animals must be appropriately restrained (leashed or in carriers or other containers.)
🐾10/12- Saturday- Autumn Sip & Stroll (12pm-5pm)
It’s Audubon Park’s first ever Autumn Sip + Stroll! Enjoy craft beer and wine samples throughout the district, plus everyone can get ready for the holidays with special pricing throughout the area. 20% of all tickets sold will benefit Polka Dogz Pet Rescue, a pet rescue with a track record of rescuing some of the most medically challenged dogs in Central Florida. Many local residents are volunteers with Polka Dogz, so APGD is proud to support their wonderful program.
🐾10/12- Saturday– Orlando Pride Parade & Festival (12pm-10pm)
Celebrating it’s 15th anniversary, there’s no bigger party in October than this one, and plenty of pups join in on the fun! There will even be a “Pet Zone” sponsored by Banfield Hospital! The festival does close the evening with fireworks, so just something to keep in mind for any skittish/fearful pups.
If you’re a local dog mom, the Orlando Dog Mom club will have their own float this year, and you can walk with them! Check out their plans here for more information.
❤️10/13- Sunday- Puppy Flow & Fundraiser @ YogaMix (11am-12pm)
YogaMix has teamed up with Eola Pets & Pet Rescue by Judi to bring you Puppy Flow. For the yogi who loves animals, this class combines a fun yoga flow with a little pet therapy. Half a dozen adoptable puppies will join you in the studio and on your mat. Heavy Petting encouraged. Suitable for all levels. A representative from Pet Rescue by Judi will be on hand to answer questions about pet adoption. Click the link above for more info and to secure your spot.
🐶10/13- Sunday- Pup Crawl & Costume Contest (1-4pm)
Spend the day in the Mills 50 district with your pup. Purchase a wristband for $5 at Ten 10 Brewing Company and receive drink specials at 11 local bars/breweries! The first 150 pups (accompanied by an adult) will receive a free bandana, compliments of event partner Tito’s Handmade Vodka. All dogs will receive treats, and pups (and adults) in Halloween costumes can can win prizes! A caricature artist will also be at The Brass Tap – Mills 50 to draw pictures of your doggies. 50% of the wristband sales benefit Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando who will have adoptables at The Brass Tap – Mills 50, as well! 🐶10/13- Sunday- Dog Day Afternoon at IPBC (1-6pm)
Join Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company for Dog Day Afternoon at the Brewery! There will be live music, and the Hayburner Food Truck will be on the patio. IPBC will have some amazing vendors and spent grain dog treats to treat your dog to a relaxing Sunday Funday event!
🐶10/14- Monday- Yappy Hour in College Park (5pm-8pm)
K Restaurant & Woof! Orlando team up to host this monthly yappy hour. Grab a seat on the porch and enjoy the live music along with dog themed food and drinks.
🐶10/19- Saturday- National Fetch Day Event @ Rockpit Brewing (12pm-4pm)
Bring your pup and come celebrate National Fetch Day with RockPit Brewing and Boozehounds Dog Bar, sponsored by ChuckIt! Quality Dog Toys! It will be the Best Dog Party of the Year in Orlando. FREE swag for attendees.
🐶10/19- Saturday- Halloween Pawty Soireé (7pm-10pm)
Join the Orlando Dog Mom Club for their first Halloween party! Taking place at Woofgang Bakery Waterford Lakes, there will be costume contests (with prizes), a dessert bar, a gourmet candy apple station, photo ops, bottomless booze…do we even need to continue? Hosted at the Happy Tails Animal Rescue facility, this FREE educational seminar is a must see for pet owners. Come out and learn from Gary Adams of Natural Instinct Dog Training as he explains dog behavior and psychology in a unique way every pet owner can relate to.

The 3rd Annual Oktoberfest Wiener Races are BACK! Join the Oktoberfest fun, as Crooked Can Brewing Co brings back this one-of-a-kind event in support of A Cause 4 Paws Rescue. Visit the link above for race times and pre-registration.
🐶10/26- Saturday- Howl-o-ween Dog Walkathon and Canine Costume Contest (9am-12pm)
Franklin’s Friends is proud to present the sixth annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest at Secret Lake Park in Casselberry. They will have a dog walk, canine costume contest, pet-friendly vendors, music and much more! All proceeds will benefit Franklin’s Friends. They’re expecting over 500 animal lovers to come out and enjoy a morning of fun for the whole family. Last year’s event raised over $50,000 for local animal welfare. 🐾10/26- Saturday- Central Florida Veg Fest (10am-6pm)
Central Florida Veg Fest is an exciting day of colorful and educational exhibits and activities. Taking place at Orlando Festival Park, this is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, alcohol-free, and smoke-free event. Veg Fest, now in its 14th year, is one of the biggest and best vegan festivals in the country.
🐾10/26- Saturday- Maitland Fall Festival (2pm-5pm)
Hosted by the City of Maitland, this festival will take place at Lake Lily Park and will offer bounce houses, slides, carnival games, train rides, food, music and more. This family event is suggested for ages 2-8.
🐶10/26- Saturday- Yappy Hour @ Southern Craft (5pm-2am)
All well-behaved dogs invited to join! Water provided along with games, treats and live entertainment by Adrianna & Clarissa Kelley. Costumes encouraged.
🐶10/27- Sunday- 5th Annual HOWL-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest & Parade (11am-2:30pm)
Back in it’s 5th year, and hosted by Crooked Can Brewing Company, it’s the annual HOWL-o-WEEN Pet Costume Contest and Parade, benefitting A Cause 4 Paws Rescue! The costume competition will be fierce, and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. This event kicks off at 11AM with on-site registration, and the parade commences at 1pm.
🐶10/27- Sunday- Howl-O-Woof 2019 (3pm-5pm)
Presented by Pig Floyd’s Urban Barbakoa and hosted by the Mennello Museum of American Art, this event is in its 3rd year and is an annual favorite. Dress for the occasion (both you and your pet!) and trick-or-treat at the sculptures in the lakeside sculpture garden at the Mennello. The best-dressed pups can enter for a chance to win some fabulous prizes in our Costume Contest. There will also be food, treats, crafts, and a photo booth area. Admission is free.
